This is an early concept art illustration for a personal project, painting done with PS-CS2 using some rock texture photos I took while travelling in Brasil and Mexico. I'll post some more as soon as I get a better idea of the art direction, C&C welcome.

I always wonder how fresh and positive your paintings are...

Great work, I'm agree with Vahn, good use of the textures. I like the colour and the idea.

You really worked those textures to great effect. I think the high detail you use mixed with a loose style works well. Love it!

thanks a lot for your comments, the texture effect was a test and it works quite well so I'll keep on doing this for a while until I'm happy with it. I'm currently working on STEAMBOT's first Artbook so I have to post-pone this one for few months... but it's my next project for sure.
