View Full Version : Satellite Issues: 8 not working, 8.5 working

Hi guys,

We have been using Satellite with 8.5 and it works great.

I've then had to setup Satellite with 8.0 and i can't get it to work. All seems fine, and even when i do the first render, the slaves pick up the master machine's request, kicks in raysat80 in the processes, but the CPU doesnt spike. There are no errors at all, but i can't get it to work. Anyone have similar issue?

Annoyingly enough 8.5 works fine! (and yes 8.5 is using a different port to 8.0)

Any suggestions?

ok, so I found this error when rendering, and i have no idea what it means!

DB 1.1 debug: job execution for tag 0x1000165 type 0 yields nothing, trying network.
DB 1.0 debug: job execution for tag 0x1000863 type 0 yields nothing, trying network.
DB 1.3 debug: job execution for tag 0x10015e0 type 0 yields nothing, trying network.

Im also getting this message as well on the master machine.

PAR 1.n debug: no message from master since one minute
PAR 0.n debug: received keepalive message from host 1
PAR 1.n debug: received keepalive message from host 0

ITs such an annoying error!! I still can't get rid of it and am running out of ideas!
