It really looks so good, I'm just fighitng a loosing battle with myself over not watching clips or voraciously devouring any info about this film so it'll still all be fresh for me when it's in the cinemas... damn you Pixar.

He he, I clicked on the video link and although the text below the video suggested it was Brad Bird talking about Ratatouille, the blonde, bimbo bikini babe in the video didn't look anything like Brad or any rat I've seen before. I think there's something screwy going on with the video links :)

I'm really looking forward to this. Brad Bird spends so much time focusing on story and he has yet to let me down. This story reflects his life story and how he made it in the industry, so you know he took extra time to make sure this story was told right.

Yep, that "little" overlook also jumped out at me. Strange...

People don't like to mention failures (commercial speaking of course), that's why!

Yes - I can understand those reasons, but still it's hard to accept. Who remembers today (or cares) if "Saven Samurai" or "RAN" by Akira Kurosawa were commercial hits (when released ) or not. They're classics, so is now "Iron Giant" among such animated masterpieces like The Lion King, Triplets of Belleville, Akira, Spirited Away or ToyStory. And its very important part of Brad Bird's career as a filmmaker.

Well, this just keeps looking better and better. I love the character designs, the style, the animation, its all gorgeous.
I was also thrown by the lack of Iron Giant talk, but even more thrown by the live action film as his next endevour bit. I'd heard that he'd like to direct a live action film one day, and I'd love to see how he does with it, but as his next project? Thats crazy.
