Hey guys im new to 3d, i have Maya Unlimited and i have read the book " getting started with maya" and "Maya unlimited" so i know the very basics so far.
but a few days ago i followed that tutorial: Creating a screwdriver with maya and rendering it with mental ray. (http://www.highend3d.com/maya/tutorials/modeling/polygon/239-2.html)
Everything worked fine but the rendering, so as i said at the begining im a newb to 3d i did the rendering stes but the mental ray material shaded objects dissapear if i render the picture.
Do i have to activate mental ray somewhere ? or do i simpl ydont have mental ray in Maya unlimited?
