I kept it short simple and to the point, I show a powerful and easy way to add color using a few layering effects. If you want to put effects on effects to get that real look, be my guest, but that would have taken a lot more then 5 minutes to show you and it would have been really boring as well.

The job you did was perfect for a beginner. Not bad at all, and I for one, really appreciate your effort. My main program is Painter and use Photoshop for color correction and sometimes layer manipulations and transforms. Although I knew your techniques at least in theory, you put a practical spin on the process. Something with which I may put to good use in the future.
