It puts a script (along with other things) in your user folder. Drag that script onto a tool bar. Press the button. It makes all the objects and opens the property page.

The script can be found here:
C:\users\NAME\Softimage\XSI_VERSION\Addons\Data\Scripts

Enjoy.

Here's a link I found a few years ago. I see that he gives thanks to Scott Draves who did something similar and claims it be an inspiration. There is (was?) a section on here where you download dailies of the server's activity.

Wov, i wish there was something like that for max......

Tell me, does XSI have a steep learning curve?

wow that's really cool....the images are created using caustics? I would love to try something like that in max....anyone know a way, or mybe the basic principle behind how the script for xsi works....maybe that could be duplicated in max somehow...anyway thanks for the link...really cool stuff...

XSI has a much easier learning curve than MAX, check out the various "why should i choose XSI" threads in this forum to see why.

wow, my addon made the front page!

i should really have put the script in a custom toolbar, my bad!

i will be revising this addon at "some" point in the near future, with some other funky random art stuff.....

thanks for all the comments

To all who expressed hopes for the scripts to "ported" to Maya or 3ds max (or any other app): why don't you try out XSI instead?
