hello all. For one I am incredibly new at blender. Why does my screen go all blurry all of a sudden with 2.43? Its really distracting. Also, are there any tutorials on the UI itself and how it relates to a program like Lightwave (from which Im switching from)?

Thanks all

Matt

hey broli, let me guess.. ATI card perhaps?
anyway.. eaven if not.. check out the blender.org FAQ (http://www.blender.org/tutorials-help/faq/technical/#c501):

The Blender screen is blurred and unreadable. What can I do?

This problem is caused by having hardware anti-aliasing turned on for OpenGL applications. Since Blender uses OpenGL for its 2D display, anti-aliasing will interfere with Blender's operation. Please turn off OpenGL anti-aliasing in your graphics card driver settings to correct this behaviour. See here for more information on graphics card configuration.

awesome. I never thought about that one. I thought it was with blender, some screensaver for it or something. It was annoying as all get out though.

I believe the trouble he had wasn't as much learning the interface as it was the fact that the interface was all blurred...
