hello,
how can I render a intro-logo in front of a black background.
So I do not need to render the background. Because its only black ?
So that I can render faster !

isn't the background black by default? If not then select your camera and go to attribute editor and the bg option is under environment.

not quite sure what your problem is, but if you render your logo only the output will have one an alpha-channel, which will make the black area behind the logo transparent, or the other a background showing the color you specified before rendering.

it all depends on your camera settings in the renderGlobals. switch off alpha, if you don't want to composite the logo later on, but i'm not sure if this will noticably decrease rendertimes.

having a solid background (no alpha) will probably decrease the output's filesize and also render a little faster.
