I semi followed a tutorial... I read through one... and used its reference images and tools that it said to use, but gave up following what it said to do... so that I learned how to do certain things without following something exactly... in other words... I wanted to make sure it wasn't the tutorial that was making a good model... and it was me using the reference from the tutorial, and making my own version :D (hope that makes sense)

it was the one from Inside LightWave 7 (Dan Ablan)

Looks great....but I have to ask...why are you using 7.0 instead of 7.5?

proton: Im keeping at 7 until I get through this book... learn with all the tools in the book using 7 (which the book was published for) and then see what the difference is when I have finished the book. or is that a stupid idea?... damned n00bs!

ta for the praise btw :D

I honestly can't tell u off the top of my head, think the list is on the site, but it sorted out a few bugs when i upgraded!! :)
wow, u must have a well paid part-time job! No-way could i afford LW at 19!! :D or any CG stuff, for that matter, lol!!

7.5 is a free upgrade and it is much better then 7.0

7.5 has no effect on learning 7.0.

I agree, 7.5 is totally cool! :D

Even for those tiny little changes that most people probably don't even notice, like the "delete" option for images in the Image Editor :)
