Hi guys!

Here is a small animation test that I did recently.
I did it so that I could play around with my newly created character; "Urso" (Bear).
Watch it with sound and bring on the critics and comments.

Animation HERE (http://yen3d.com.sapo.pt/ursofly_low_web.mov) - low-res it's all I got for now. sorry!

Thanks

Reads like a charm, the bear rig, altough not entirely stressed rigwise, it does look cool.
One could philsophise over the demise of the fly but, like you said, its a small animation test. A very nice one at that.

Anything else you wanna show about the bear? i`d love to see some wires, hear a bit about how you rigged it, thoughts after you made it etc?

Great animation! I agree with Banshax, it reads very well!
Would be great to see some more animation with the bear. Like the character!

Cheers,
James

Thanks guys!

Here (http://ultra.planetaclix.pt/yen3d/ursowalking.mov) is a walkcycle ( download it and play it in loop )

The rig is standard stuff... I'm not to rigging savvy so I use a lot of scripts and auto-rigging stuff from friends of mine and from the web.
The facial rig is a mix of joints, blendshapes and clusters. I used joints for the brown, cluster for the eyelids, and blendshapes for the mouth all with a custom UI.
