She is ancient assassin, very brutal woman. :D

very cool design so far,
i'd be a little concerned with how she'd be able to wield that massive... blade thing...
with the way you've designed the anatomy so far, the range of motion for the "under" arms would be quite restricted. she'd have the same problem with her left "under" arm wielding the sword

i dig all your work dude, cant wait to see how you pull this one off.
If i had to nitpick id say id be nicer if the second set of arms connected a litle lower on the body rather than right ontop of each other im just thinking waht would 2 sets of scapulas look like piled on ?
but blah doesnt matter, very cool concept and start.
nice concept and color theme. i do like the design on her legs.:)
however, its hard to visualize how she will swing the two swords and the dual bladed staff at the same time.

Like mentioned above, the range of motion of the second pair of arms seems limited and unpractical.
Other than that, that concept is for me the most appealing so far.

The second hands it was a bad idea.
Reconcept of this character...
I long thought and have refused the second hands. It will be the usual human.
The main weapons: bow with arrows and steel claws.
But it not archer, she still assassin. :D
great sketch. you got good drawing skills :)
anyways, i think the upper arms are little too bare right now. i suggest some sort of bracelet around the bicep may be. also how would she handle those arrows with those claws?
btw, i did like some of the design elements on the first sketch
I'll think about it. Claws can be quickly detachable. May be a big glove or knuckle blades. Dunno :D
Woo nice drawing! I see you have a changed some elements of the girl's gear in the second drawing. Somehow I like the first one better. But maybe drop the two smaller swords, that would settle how somehow one small framed like her could handle a big sword :D
But keep the 'eye shadow' around the eyes. Very nice :D
I shall combine these two concepts in one. Some elements from the old version I shall add in new.
The finished concept will be with bow, knuckle blades or sword.

wow man, that face is freaking beautiful! i'd say her arms and clavicle are a tad manish fo rmy taste... maybe toning them down, keep her in the sexy realm, esp with the beautiful littl ebaby fat on her face.. you'd figure that would carry through the rest.
You are absolutely right!
It has been made for elegancy, power of the character, not functionality.
I have already corrected it, so little.
But I think of other difficulties, a choice of the weapon :D

woah! I loove the concept painting! The sculpting's really sweet too! the only weird thing is that strap that holds the corset - it's just not attatched to it really... Can't wait to see her textured!:bounce:

Great modeling. The characters face really mirrors the concept well. Probably getting too microscopic, but something about the shoulder looks strange, not sure what. Anyways, good luck.

looking really nice man. Only thing, would be nice if the skull thing or the snake thing was implemented into the shield or weapon. Help to bring those pieces into the character more.
man, nice update. how do you handle 10 mil poly. what software, any hints ?
i really like the face and the legs. the proportions of the torso and the breasts seem a little off i think. looking forward to textures which i know you will do a great job.

The weapon, is almost ready and already has: 992 Tris, Color map, Specular map, Specular Color, Normal Map, Reflection Map (2048 Resolution)

i like your concept very much!
i´m missing the ancient theme a bit (maybe here weapons), but it looks cool - so what ;)
the model looks nice too - i just would flesh out her hip a bit more, give her nice curves - at the moment it looks very straight.
i wished so much that you would use your strong drawing/ painting skills for the texture work and go more into a similar direction as your face close up (concept).
i think that you are giving away much potential by choosing a technical and realistic direction which most of the competitors will do too and that has no own touch and feel, whithout using your painterly background to push your work out of the crowd.
maybe i´m judging too early - i just saw your weapons and thought - oh no - why? ;)
i´m anxious to see the progression...

The diffuse map is almost ready, but still in progress.
Here is a little of changes in design :argh:
the boots, hairstyle with pony tails are changed.
nice update, there seems to be some smoothing group issues around the boots and the fabric in her hands. besides that i think the spurs dont fit the over all concept. also i think you can pump up the normal map details over all and specially in the hair. if this were to be used in a game engine you would probably mipmap or lod and then those details would be lost.

If you have the time to bring the same level of texturing to the character as you have done with the weapons it is going to look seriously bangin. Good job man. Keep it up.

Really nice forms in her body. Love those curves :)
Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the diffuse texturing. The snake head looks great! Would you consider darkening the rivets on that shoulder pad a bit to help them stand out a bit more or perhaps add some dirt/shadows around the base of them in the corners?

Some Texture maps is a little in progress, but almost finished.
Here is scanlaine render with native lights.
Now there are maps: Diffuse, Specular, Glossiness, Normal, Transparency.
Tomorrow I shall upload completely a figure.

I have been watching this thread since the beginning, cant wait to c the winning pose.....finally!
Wow great texture! A few crits. The area where the leather binds the equipment to the skin need some darkening around there. Looks like just loosely wrapping over it instead of secured tightly.
The purple armor plates seems to be rather sudden. The weapon hasn't got much, the shield has desaturated purple. Perhaps try to match back the purple on the shield?
