I am considering a move within the next couple of months. More than likely I'll be moving either to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas, or Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Can someone tell me what the current job market is like in Dallas/Ft. Worth?
I am specifically interested in doing 3d motion graphics and video-related stuff.

I know numerous unemployed 3d artisits in D/FW. I don't know if they just aren't trying hard enough or what.

However, i don't really keep my ear to the ground either. I should, because who knows what'll happen, but i don't.

I'm one of those 3d artists unemployed in DFW. There are lots of good companies in the area but there is lots of competition for the openings they get. Im sure if you can make some contacts and you have some experience you'll have a step above the rest of us.
