View Full Version : Does ACS4 support Sasquatch??
frankc 02-27-2003, 11:15 AM I use ACS4 to setup my model's bone.
and I assign sasquatch to my model.
But ,while I'm rendering.Then Layout was halt,
and no any respones.
I had tried saslite. It's still happened...
And I tried the same model ,but I didn't use ACS4.
The sasquatch worked!
Does any one encounter the same problem?? ^^

It shouldn't be a problem because ACS4 only creates standard LW bones and standard LW IK chains with the odd expression thrown in.
ACS4 isn't like Messiah, where Messiah generates a displacement file which could disrupt Sasquatch, instead it's just bones.
In fact I have just got finished with a model I rigged and posed with ACS4 and had long Sasquatch hair on. Worked just fine.

you just have to keep in mind to add the messiah deformer-plugin /before/ the sasquatch-plugin.

Hi Carnera.
It's been a long time since I used Messiah 1.57 with Sasquatch, Sasquatch was no more than at ver 1.0.
I do believe there was some problem at the time, but that subsequent versions fixed it.

I had some reports with the sasquatch problem, I personally tried Sas Lite and it was working just fine.
From what I heard if You disable spine expressions (all expressions in Graph Editor) this solves the problem. For now, You can bake all spine bones motion and disable GE expressions for rendering.
