looks cool, like in a acherontic backyard! is this a truck in the background?

Looks great
The guy looks a bit stiff but the background is amazing!
1) How much time did you spend on it?
2) How big is it "IRL"?

brainheadz - yeah, it is a truck in the background. It's hard to read atm, but one of my instructors gave me some tips as how to make it read better and also give the scene some more narrative flare, so I'll probably be reposting this again with the updates at a later date.
Mike_SkuLL - I think it took me about half a day, my sense of time was screwed up when I was doing as I was pretty sleep deprived  The original size is double what you see here. It's kind of a rule of thumb to go one up on the working size of an illustration.

I have one more painting to do in this set of drawings which I have to do in the next couple of days :( I have so much work for school, and so little sleep :P
The next set of drawings that I'm going to be doing thou is going to be a space age theme. So it will be all these clean, bubbly looking designs. Btw, if you want to see my latest work, I'm working on a self portrait project which I've done in 3d, so hopefully if I get motoring that will be up in the 3d section later today :)
