Title: The Highest
Name: Ana Kusicka
Country: Italy
Software: Painter, Photoshop

The essence of life in a touch.
Spring always comes, from the highest Tree to the last Primula root in its shadow.

It waited almost finished for more than a month. It happens sometimes that you made all the steps in the colouring, all the things as you wanted to be, but something is missing, maybe the last touch to give the desired atmosphere. Usually this is all about finding the right colour switch in the colour balance tool, the right contrast in few zones, the right light and overlay highlights, this piece went into two pencilworks and started two colouring processes, Showed here is the second final version.

Pencilwork can be viewed here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/31440636/?qo=23&q=by%3Amindofka&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps
Pencil on paper, Photoshop, Painter Classic.
Thanks for taking a look :)

this is really lovely.
It has almost an Arthur Rackham look to it.
Keep up the fantastic work.

It is great, but I would get rid of the pencil in the body outline, as you did on pplants. It would be more dreamy then. Now all is done in color while his face and body are still bordered with sharp lines. It's not a big deal, just that final touch. I still like it any way :)
