I have run into a problem with Blenders internal render. When I render my scene all the shows up is one small dot (see below) So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem before, It was working just fine about 5 minutes before this and I didn't change any settings that I know of, the only keys I remeber pressing were, E, G, F

look forward to someone shareing their blended wisdom with me so I can get this fixed

Try select your camera and then press Ctrl+0, this will (re)setup your primary camera.

does anyone know why its doing that, I have opened a new project and it renders fine, I've even gone through and copied the settings of the one that work to the project that is just making a dot and still nothing. the oldest save of this project also reders fine but as soon as I load what I've resently done it just a dot.

let me guess you have to be an upgraded member to upload these kind of files.

if not, then I just need an explaination how, if so, then do you know of anouther way I could get it to you

Alright I have found out some thing new, I pressed the right arrow key by mistake and when to frame 2.. I was still trying to solve my problem and pressed F12 and I had two dots, I notice the frame 2 and so I played the rendered the animation and it built the verts (also seem to be in a halo material somehow) at frame 137 it appears all my verts are there (and glowing) but after 137 I start loseing verts till about 150 when everything goes blank. I have not added a Build modifier (the only mod I have used so far is mirror) I also have made no attemp at animation, in fact I know nothing about animation in blender which is probly why I'm having this problem.

So I hope this helps you all figure out whats wrong... I have no idea how anything on this could have happened, I don't even have a halo material made.

I also just notice when I checked my outline, the cube that I started with (and is giving me all these problems) has a wrench looking thing next to it, I've never seen that.

scratch that I see that wrench mean my mirror mod is still on.

Sorry but without the blend it's kinda fishing in the dark. I haven't a clue what it might be right now. But you don't need to be an upgraded member to post files, you just need to post a few times and prove not to be an asshole, then they'll let you upload some stuff.

alright after hours and hours of wondering what the heck is wrong I finnaly found it.

somehow my user default was changed to include particles and when I opened my project yesterday it applied the particles to my mesh. being that it was my user default I didn't catch it when I was comparing the buttons settings between two open Blenders

well... I just hope all this help some one else fix there project faster incase it happens to them

those are all the files. Just make a zip containing the files you need to upload, or use an external host, it's what we all do.
