Hi Guys.. i'm starting with head modeling and i encountered problems with my first head modeling using poly by poly , one of the problems i think , is the edges loops but..

i gonna take that for yours experts in that to please help me with tips , or critiques , what are u want , because i'm a begginer and.. with critiques and help we grow

Edge loops - you named it. It would take longer to retopo this face than to start from scratch and keep an eye on the edge loops, so I suggest you to start again. There are some usefull tutorials concerning edge loops in pBp modeling on 3dtotal.com, so have a look at.

Head modeling is all about concentric loops, like ripple in water, or the latitude and longitude of the geosphere. Emerging concentric loops around lips, around eyes, all within loop passing through lipline to eye brows, loop passing through forehead and chin etc. And strip of poly running in between to make space for rising nose, detail of lips and chin. Might be different in placement depending on the decision of the modeler.

In my humble opnion, the lips you created with horizontal strips of polystrips, which resulted in dense bunch of edges that could be harder to administer tweaking. Better than verbal expression, I suggest to visit this two links if you haven't visited them already:

One thing.. that Joan Arc its Box modeling no ???

Where the pBp reference in that site ??

I like more pBp ..why ?? dunno..

Palante,

It looks like you're using Max, and being a Maya-phile I don't know how much this advice will help, but even if you see it in the store, check out the book, "Maya: Secrets of the Pros - Second Edition." It's the one with the triclops on the cover and it has a good description of where the loops of the face should be. It's more of a Maya technique book but does cover a little bit of the theory:)
