Howdyho!

This is my very first crack at painting my own low poly character. I'm using Max and Deep Paint 3D to demonstrate to my future employer (insert name of video game developer here) that I know my way around the texturing tools in Max and Deep Paint.

I never set out to be a texture artist but I was told that having the ability to texture my own characters or at minimum know how to place the maps on the characters would make me a tad more marketable as a character modeler/designer.

Any crits welcome...I'm a complete texturing newbie.

Thanks!

Gets some reference for some hair and skin color and tone. Have some potential there, careful of the stretching in the hair area.

I would suggest to unwrap your uv's, make a planar projection from bot side, then stitch them together (nose to nose) it will help alot, also you should improve where the hair start on the skin, good work tho ;)
