Hello,

I'm wondering, if there's an option in Max that lets a bone chain swing if I rotate the parent. I try to explain it more specifically: If you imagine a dino tail, you move the tail-root and the whole tail starts swinging. I'd like to know if there's such an option for normal bone chains (no biped).

Cheers "ko'gen".

i don't think so , there's a script http://www.comet-cartoons.com/3dfiles/superLag.zip
made by Michael Comet.
the only problem its that you have to calculate the animation.
It would be grate to achieve in max the real time tail like the rigs made for the leafs in burning safari.

Ohh thank you for those links. Too bad, there isn't such a function, so I guess I will animate the end point of the "tail" via IK instead of the beginning point.

Cheers "ko'gen".
