View Full Version : Biped rotation issue
Katalina 02-15-2007, 08:08 AM When I animate the biped bip object rotating, the whole biped disappears, does anyone know what I am doing wrong - The previous keys will play showing the biped, however when it gets to this rotation key it disapears. (I am using lock down keys in this animation and using auto-key). I restarted max however it still has the same issue. Really curious to find out! Thanks

I'm not sure what your scene has in it, but you may be able to overcome this by creating a layer and then adding your rotation keys on the new layers.

Wierd wierd wierd.. thats what character Studio is all about.
Well...if that layering doesnt work, trying saving the bip file and reloding to your scene again and try that rotation again ??

I've seen this problem. It doesn't happen often.
Double check the curve editor and Workbench to see if your position curve is being thrown off on that particular frame.
If you must, create a layer and on the Bip01 set a key on the last frame where it's good, and set another key on the frame where it flies away and drag the biped back to it's original position and collapse the layer.
If all else fails, save out the .bip file, merge in a fresh biped, and load the .bip file.
Good luck.
