Hi,
I have an interesting problem with rendering SSS. I can preview the effect when I launch a single render (Fig.1), but when I do a quick turntable of the scene to inspect the lighting from all angles, the SSS disappears (Fig.2).
I think that this may have something to do with the lightmap, but am unsure of how exactly I can resolve it. When I look at the directory the lightmap is being written to, the lightmap shows that the date modified is the current time, indicating to me that it is being continuously written to.
I am sure this is a super-quick question, and if anybody could post an answer that would be most appreciated.
