View Full Version : How to use Wacom SD tablet

I have one of those big old 12"x12" serial port Wacom tablets. Model SD-402E

It worked on a Mac in the 90's and Wacom has PC drivers for it but I have yet to get my PC to notice it.

Is anyone successfully using this old tablet with a PC? If so, what Windows version and did you have to do anything special?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I figure Photoshop people are probably most knowledgeable about Wacoms.

Have you tried installing one of the "SD Series" drivers from here:

http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/select.cfm

It seems it only supports windows ME, 98 and NT.

Yes, those would be the very PC drivers I referred to Wacom as having.

It seems it only supports windows ME, 98 and NT. So they say, but I installed NT on a spare PC I have and still it doesn't recognize the tablet.

I would ask the question over at wacom support. I'm sure they would know.
