Eggington Productions is embarking on fairly complex production and I'm trying to put together the resources I'll need to pull it off.

I'm currently looking for people who have experience with Messiah and/or Lightwave to help build, texture and light sets. Messiah is a tricky beast that requires artists to be familiar with its strengths and limitations so I'm hoping to reach out here first to find people that might meet those requirements.

If you are interested in helping out please contact me with what you feel your strengths are and some samples of your work.

Thank you.

are you looking to get people on or offsite?

All off site. We have a system in place for communication and file exchange and will be improving that process as we go along.

Do you also need someone for coding or rigging ? :)

Yes! We are already integrating in your A:M like FK solution. Be cool to have "the man" help us out. :-)

I am new to Messiah but I can model make basic rigs that then can be tweaked to their full potential. (I check that the model deforms well but really not up to speed on Armatures and some of the other stuff) I can't animate worth a darn though.

(BTW I am an American livign here will move back to the USA in the summer)

Hi. I am from Bolivia, and I have some experience; if you want I can load or send some pics of my animations, and been modeling, texturing and rigging in Messiah for a while. Joe Sarmiento

What kind of a production are we talking about here? I'm sure there are certain confidentiality agreements you are dealing with, but a little hint couldn't hurt to get us all jazzed up.

I model and texture in lightwave and animate and rig in both lightwave and messiah. I write scripts and come up with story lines, etc., and do a lot of voice acting. I also edit all of my own stuff in Final Cut Pro and do titles and compositing and anything else in After Effects.

I work at a web design agency so a lot of the work I do has to be translated to work in Flash which will explain why things look the way they do if you look at things like my Star Wars work.

I do all of this as a hobby so I would have to do it in my spare time. Anyway, take a look.

Wegg,

I think you may already have a reel of mine, and I am definitely interested. My main strength is as a character animator. I also come from a strong traditional animation background.

I've used messiah since it's inception, and LW as well (altho' I'd have to get up to speed on where things might be in the latest versions). I'll email a resume to you.

Best,
Rick

BTW, on your cg portfolio page on cgtalk, the rest of your address is missing...I have it, but you might want to add it.

Best,
Rick
