Title: I wanna be your cat
Name: WhiteBull Tong Duc Hien
Country: Vietnam
Software: Painter
I made this one for my girl as a gift for Valentine but I didn't have the chance to show her. Done this piece in about 4hours with Corel Painter IX. I don't know much about gothic but my girl she loves it so I tried to make it half goth way, half my way. This is my first time drawing cat so please, give me a lil comment about the cat.
Thanks.

No doubt, for your first drawing of a cat you chose the most difficult to do well, black fur can be a nightmare to paint.:)
You did it beautifully, though. like the idea, the composition and the mood, and (since you asked for opinions on the cat, specifically) I can safely say I hope you'll paint *more* cats in the future.
This is a fantastic painting! I used to have a little black Persian like that named Felix, and I know someone (http://enayla.cgsociety.org/gallery/) who'd really appreciate this painting.
Great job!

cat and girl looks lovely, but this work seems to be leaning to the left side a bit. and her finger looks like a toe :).
sweet painting overall, hope your girl likes it!

just for the record ,actually Gothic had nothing to do with dark (or red) hair ,black clothes and blood drained girls -it was quite bright age in architecture, one of its most succesfull achievement were new construction methods alowed to build higher and thiner walls - that's why gothic cathedrals has bigger windows (more light inside) than those built in Roman age.

Thanks you guys for loving tha cat ^^
@Miezis: yeah, I can see it now, I've should have flipped it at first to figure it out from the beginning.
@Morano: I agree with you about the Gothic architecture. But the gothic I mention here is the subculture exist among us now aday. Goths, they have been spurned by 'normal' society because the way they want to live their lives does not fit in with how most people. I don't really know much about this community but I can see it from my girl friend. It is the dark, black things and horror.
