Here's a self portrait of me done in Photoshop.
I scanned a sketch of my self first as a guideline for the painting. I used a mirror and a photo of me as a reference. I just used custom brushes from photoshop.

Here is the reference image I used and the sketch I made:

It took me about 5 days of free time to finish this one.Hope to be faster next time! Comments and crits are very much welcome. Thank you:)

My apologies to the cg crew for being careless:)

It's very well done! But I think there is something strange going on with the earlobe. I can see in the photo that there is a shadow there, but in your painting it looks more like a really deep indentation.

Other than that, I like it!

Great work! The ear looks funny, the color is off. Right now it feels like the is dying because of its bluish color. Love the work!

Thanks magnus. I'm having trouble pulling of the translucensy thing on the ear. I think that's why it looks to blue.

Wow!! Thanks for a different self-portrait pose. Nothing wrong with the generic stuff, but different is great if done right. And I feel this one is done right. Excuse my poor english I have only spoken it for all my life and still can't get the hang of it. One day though one day...

Keep up the great work...
