not, really, the claw will act like a natural shield with sharp edge more than a reall "hand"

Great sculpt. I'm not crazy about the lowest part of the legs. They look a little stretched and physically weak compared to the rest of the musculature. Is he supposed to stick by suckers on those feet? I think that could work, but the legs need to look strong enough to hold him down. Why did you go with the backwards legs? I think it might be a better, simpler silhouette with standard legs and fat suction feet. Look forward to seeing this evolve.

tanks for comment,
well, i don't really know why i choose the backwards legs, but i tried different legs and they are my favs.

excellent work on the model so far but i've got to agree with SeanB on the legs, definatley the right style, but they don't look strong enough for him to stand on.

thanks guys for comments.
i did a muscular version for the legs but anyway
i 'm going to give up this one .
i've got some uv issues (mudbox don't want to give the high res with my uv even if i do a recreate level's uv) to do the texturing in zbrush.

so this is my last normal map test in maya viewport http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/5565/test3tp5.jpg
that was my first game model so i learn a lot of things for the few things i've done and next time i will change my way to do it.

see ya !!!

what kind of UV issue's are you having?(or do you mean when using Mudbox to bake the normals) and what software? that looks like a Maya viewport,
maybe we can help?

it's a damn fine sculpt, and a damn shame to so you surrender at this stage in the game.

spot the quote: 'Never give up, never surrender!"

i don't really know how to explain my problem, so i'll try.

i've done the high res in mudbox, extract the normal. that part is ok.

then i would like to export the high res in zbrush to do the texturing and bake the shader, but the high res seems to have no uv and i don't know why because with another model it works.
hope i was enough understandable :D

thanks again

I don't know Mudbox, so I have nothing constructive to offer, just wanted to say sorry you have to drop out. It's a strong model, hope you noodle out the tech issues.
