View Full Version : Bird Foot Skeleton Set-Up, help pls...

I have a cartoonish character I need to animate for a class. Isnt due for a few weeks so Im ahead of the game. I just learned MAYA (have Max experience) but here is my problem.

How can I set up the skeleton for a birds foot that has two toes? I can set it up fine but it does not bend when I pull the ankle back. Notice the arrow, no bend...

Also, if you feel like critiquing my first completed character, please feel free to do so... thanks ahead of time.

Hey NeoGSR,

It looks like what you want to do is have automatic toe roll, right? If so then check out this tutorial on creating the reverse foot:
