Wilson-3d 02-26-2003, 02:57 PM Hi. This is a pic from an animation test I just finished. It was to make sure the rig was working good and find any thing that needed tweeked before I got him in a scene and then ran into any trouble. I have had the plot for an upcoming short (God willing) for a while and am now working on environments. Done in R.8 with Mocha. Comments are welcome. Thanks.

O.K. Sorry. I put a link. That should work. I don't know what is up with the pic. It could be the elusive "operator error"

I love the characters facial expression.
The knees look like they are kinda high up on his leg.
Good job, and keep us posted on any updates

Thanks. I used posemixer on the head and hands. The thights are small yes. That is just how the design turned out. I can't picture them longer but I have been looking at him for a long time. Once I started to rig him I was thinking -why don't my characters ever have somewhat of a normal body type?

the link worked fine for me... strange..
cute character, exept for the eyes. i don't like these black-eyed-aliens, but that's a personal thing (basicly, they scare the s**t out of me :surprised: )
one thing i would change. the char has rather larger feet and a big head, but his hands are quite small. i would make them bigger (at least twice the size they are now) in order to fit better into the cartoon-design you seem to aim at :)
looking forward to the animation!!

Hi Peoples. Thanks for the comments. I am sorry to everyone that can't view the pic. I would like to hear your comments. This is the first few things I have uploaded to my "soon to be website?" and it may not of gone through the dns server yet? Anyway here are some links to 2 test animations. They are .mp4. I hope some of you can view them. Thanks.
I just checked and some of us here at the office can download them and some of us can't. Perhaps I will leave them for now though and get back when I know more can see them.

the walkcycle is nice! maybe a bit exaggerated on the arm-movement compared to the speed of him walking. the link for the jump doesn't work (file not found)
