Messiah vs Motion Capture Device

- If you can already make BVH from motion capture system is there any reason to use Messiah?

- Has messiah been used for any computer games?

- So the whole point of messiah is to create an animation FROM scratch OR modify an existing animation then export it as a BVH?

Yes you can create an animation from scratch all the ways to the end. All you need is a modelling app to create meshes and props for your animation. Import these into messiah in various formats inc. OBJ. You can texture, animate and render your final master piece inside messiah if you wish without need for anything else. It also integrates with other apps like Lightwave if you prefer.

Im sure a MO-CAP device wouldnt be cheap either. You could always import in stock BVH walk cycles and apply them in messiah to a model you imported ... I think!
