Just a quick test i pulled off in my lunch break. i spent most of 3 hours rendering this over and over than creating the model. by the way, pic is low res, cuz i had to fit it under 20kb for cgtalk. ( ouch, they've reduced it drastically ! ) if any of you have similar orc armor and orc models work to share, please do post it here. friendly competition is good ! 3d rocks ! :airguitar

very decent work for that short time dude! very nice concept ! glad to see people start off well in maya. i guess you have all those armor parts covered ! helmet, breastplate, arm pad, thigh pad and knee pads, not to mention those weapons! all dats lacking is their crossbow ! anywayz, very nice modeling. lighting is good, the effect of the flame torch, eh ? cheers !
