CGTalk - paint fx for after effects?

sorry, didn't know where to put this thread!

I recently saw a plugin a while back that integrated maya's pfx tools into afx. Did anyone manage to get this working? I had a shot but got no luck. If it does work, does anyone know where I could get hold of it, or something similar even?

Effective June 1, 2002, the Paint Effects Plug-in for Adobe After Effects is no longer available.
