Feel free to comment and to criticize.
We did it with an small team using Lightwave 3D as our main tool.
Characters were animated and rendered on lightwave, but backgrounds were rendered on V Ray.

I watched it at school, so had no sound, but I liked the animation. I didn't anticipate the kid being in a wheel chair, then he zoomed out and was in one, that was nice. Good storyboarding.

um......
Good idea, story, I agree with previous poster that I liked how you revealed the wheel chair.
Becareful with those camera moves. It moves around too much some of the time. I believe there is one cut that's a little jarring, breaking the 180. Also, animation wise watch out for IK arms. You can use IK, you just have to make it not noticable. Also, some of the animation feels a little even. I hope my comment helps. Keep it up.

Vexona - Yeah, I really appreciate what does people thinks about the story. Someone said "weird" and I have been confused. If it's weird but good it's ok.
Janim8r - You're right. I used to move camera to mask animation problems. Maybe it's not this case, but it has ben vicious once we have just 1 or 2 days to create full CG 3d commercials. I also got several camera problems while transporting Lightwave Camera to Max, specially the slow in and slow out. I really didn't get a good rig and sometimes the IK control was so difficult.

i also liked how you revealed the wheelchair. Some of the toys animation seemed a bit jumpy, but for the most part worked well.

I think it is so wierd looking. because too much camera moves.
The wheel chair is moving and the camera moves at the same time, I hardly catch what is it going on.
secondly, I think it will look better if you add some shadows for the toys.
Because, they look like floating on the air, and sliding around.
Nice work by the way. :)

Thank you for comments MayLow. I added shadows to some scenes and decided to not add to some others. The reason was that It takes a bit more work and I think the scene looks beautier without shadows. Crazy, but, for example, the last scene, I've done it with shadows but I liked it without it. Just tried something different. Characters already float due to different rendering engines and camera tracking error, so, it was not important to me create realism, but I tried a different language. Well, it was a first try, I must try better on the next short.
Yeah, I agree the camera moves too much, but it was also my choice. I would do it different due to some feedback saying it causes confusion on understanding.
