View Full Version : FBIK modify joints' length (HELPME!)

Hi guys!

I have a big problem. i almost finished my chracters' settings. i used FBIK and i made lots of clusters on it. also setting for the eyes and tongue, tooth. even weight.

But i've just realized my arms' joint is bit short for elbow. is there anyway i can modify my joints' length? i meant just one joints' Z-scale. with out do all again?

if i knew how to modify the stance pose....

I'm new to rigging myself, and have not tried FBIK. Can you move the joint holding down 'd'?

i can move it with the move skinned joint tool.. but the vertices goes with it anyways, also with "insert" or the "d" key... it is a bit complicated when one is trying to edit a fbik system because u are changing connections between the effectos, and 2 skeletons. Im not in my computer now, i did a test moving some joints, but without any good result. I just redid another skeleton and transfered the mesh with a copy of the weights on a map.
