randalls 02-26-2003, 05:18 AM I am new here and just wanted to know what you thought of this image I created using XSI.
I tried posting a larger picture but was not able to do so. If you know how I can achieve that you can let me know and I will post a larger picture so that you can view it better.
Thank.

I think you can post up to 20k, so maybe you could get a larger image with more compression...

Or put the image on an ftp if you have access to any, and attach a link to it.
From what I see in that tiny little gif I must say it looks like a good image though :)

Thanks for your ideas guys and imput.
I do have a larger image, but I tried compressing it and the small picture is what I came up with. I will try to find another way.

errr - shrinking =\= compression...
lowering image quality = compression
if you use photoshop, take a bigger picture (640 x 480 should work nicely) and do File > Save For Web. Then you can lower the image quality using the slider bar in the menu on the right. Mess with it until below the picture, it will show a file size less than 20k.

Thanks a lot for the information. I will do this right away and see what I can come up with.

I went ahead and lower the quality on the Fence image and this is what it now looks like. Please take into consideration the fact that it is a low quality image.
Thanks for all your help in achieving this, and I appreciate all your comments.

looks good. I really like the textures and the lighting. The only thing I can really see that doesn't sit right with me is how the chain on the right side is laying. Just for some reason it looks odd. Great job on everything else though

Thanks a lot guys.
I see where you thought the chains looked a bit weird. it is a bit snug on the right when it could be laying in a more relaxed manner.
Thank you all very much for you input and critique.:)
