Hi,
I own Rhino 2.0 and Flamingo. I have been playing with the 4.0 Beta, but I cannot get Flamingo to work with Rhino. I have 2.0 and Flamingo working together fine. When I try to get the service compatability update for Flamingo and RHino 4, it says that I Do not have Flamingo 1.1 for RHino 3 installed. I guess that I cannot use my Flamingo since I only have Rhino 2?

I was able to get the Rhino 4 Beta as a registered 2.0 owner, but I cannot use Penguin unless I own Rhino 3? Any way to make this work?

It may not be to big of a deal though because an online retailer (Novedge.com) has a Rhino 3 purchase (for cheap) and get 4.0 free. When I inquired if they could do this with just a 3.0 upgrade they said to just check next week as they expect the Rhino 4 then........

i dont think penguin was built for 2, however you may be able to save your models in 2.0 format in 4. Also you may hav the old version of flamingo ...cause you didnt say you hav 1.1, I think you know what your doing anyhow

My bad, I meant Flamingo.

I have Flamingo 1.1 working with Rhino 2, but it says that I need it for 3 when I run the beta update to run with Rhino 4.

Thanks.

I think if you contact the rhino newsgroup or mcneel they should be able to sort it out for you.

Version 4 is now on the market as of a few days ago.
Flamingo has also been updated to work with V4.
