Well, this should be really easy for u all to solve :p
How can I repair my object if when i have deleted some vertices ? I thought "connect" would do it but nope

here's a pic:

if it's an ePoly then you can use the create in poly sub object mode to close it up

You can also use it in editable mesh. And if the hole is similar like jadedchron you could use the border subobject of editable poly and then CAP to close it in one action

Tnx, it's a step in the right direction. :p

But let's clarify: Polygon sub-object level --> Edit Geometry rollout --> Create...that what you mean ? I tried it but when I have 'repaired' my poly the new edges are red and I can't right click because then they disappear. How can I confirm the new borders so that they are made ? :hmm:

say what?

and I can't right click because then they disappear.
what is it you're tryin' to right click for? Polygon sub-object level --> Edit Geometry rollout --> Create - if you do that and copy what i did in the picture then itll create a poly just fine.

or you can cap it like r3 said

need the techsmith codec to view it

OK, now I got it =)
I actually forgot to close the edges by clicking on the same vertex again in the end...very stupid of me :) :p :)

hmm, why are some of the new polygons darker and some lighter ?

tnx again for helping.

you don't necessarily have to hit the last vertex. you can just double click like i did on the vertex. about a .03 second time saver :D

-----hmm, why are some of the new polygons darker and some lighter ?---

either the smoothing groups are incorrect or it has a different sub material id.

jadedchron good to know ;)

Tim Woods tnx, i found the smoothing group options in the polygon properties and changed it to 1. Now they look as they should :p
