I'm making an outdoor scene, and render time is critical. The camera will be flying quickly about 60 ft of the ground, until it slows and circles a barn that I want to be high detail. I am considering making an array of small grass sprites for the grass, but render time is essential, so want to make it have a level of detail (or level of density) relative to the cammera. Low when the camera is flying around, medium when it is right in front of the camera, and high when it is circling the barn. Does Max have this built in, and how do I do it? Thanks in advance!
