It's a good render, i like the simplicity, but the poly is plain overkill =) If you wanted to achieve detail in closeup you could have used NURBS - i KNOW how they suck in max, but for a simple lathed surface they could've been easy enough to handle. Think patches too, as they have a good tesselation algorythm and will tesselate good if you close up on them - while remaining easy to work with in the viewports =) Otherwise rocks!
Oh and one thing that bugs me is the logo. I think this is not the original phillips logo, it kinda looks like a taiwan rip-off =) Check out brandsoftheworld.com (http://brandsoftheworld.com) - they have most of the logotypes of common (and not so common - misli si za Ariana i Zagorka :)) brands in .eps or .ai formats =)
