Throwing my hat in here! I had joined the forums a fair while ago but seem to have lost my login details. Concept artwork and rough color pallette to follow shortly.

I'm focusing on several words to get things moving:

Ancient
Dark
Forceful
Precise
Devastating

Until my second and third posts are accepted onto the forums as this profile is new, the first piece of concept art will not appear. Thanks for your patience.....

I'll leave the top post for some narrative I'm planning to add in as I work out more of the detail.

I've done a slightly sloppy mock up of the head in 2D based on the thumbnail I created as the icon for my entry. 2/3 if the face will be visible, the other third cloaked or covered.

Now to work on the concept for the body of the beast. Wish me luck :D

OK, moving forward now, looking to model out the face in high poly. I'll likely stop this once the top half of the head is done and then move down to the body concept.

The two halves are mirrored for the time being but will be modelled separately for the final version. The mirroring is only for visualisation.

Please let me know what you think as I keep putting more shots out ;)

Hi again! No-one has posted but I'm sure at least 2 or three people took a look. If you have any comments......

Some concept work for the body (with armour)

and secondly some more detailed concepts / development for his main weapon. It has two blades secured by a rotating mount which allows them to be forced together for a stabbing strike or open for two handed slashing attacks.

I should have an update on the modelling for you soon ;)
