View Full Version : Blend Shapes Problem

I'm having a problem with my blend shapes in Maya, whenever I animate my character the head becomes severed from the body back to its original position before I started to animate. And when I try to create new blend shapes my head tilted out of position. Is there a way of correcting this please, cause until I can sort this out I can't advance with my projects.

Have you tried messing with input/deformation order? You have your head affected by two deformers (bone and blendshape) and they need to be in the right order or you'll get "effects" like you described

Don't get disturbed

We all had those problems with blendshapes in the begining

Your answer is somewhere on this forum. Just do a search with blendshapes in the maya section and you will find tons of information.
