CGTalk - MentalRay rendering

Hi,

i have a problem with the mental ray renderer and the render command.

If i render my scene with the UI render button all looks fine but if i render with the mel command render the result is black.

What i have to do to render with mentalRay in a mel script ?

hi,
if its possible, can u share the cmd(s) which u have used to render a given scene in mental ray renderer through mel ? cause one might be able to help by executing the same cmds in other scene files here or atleast by viewing them...
r u trying to render the file from the cmd prompt ? did u try rendering some other files using the same command by specifying the renderer as mentalray ... the render cmd can be used by specifying the renderer as software, hardware, mentalRay or file...
