View Full Version : How to zoom in/out in trackview?
Eudaimic 02-25-2003, 02:22 PM Hey all,
I can't figure out how to zoom in and out in the trackview. I'm panning just fine, adjusting curves left and right, but I can't get the damn thing to zoom in and out :(
Do you all just use 'f'? What about vertical zoom?

Do you mean Graph editor?
Or Trax editor.
I've never heard of the Track View.
alt + lmbmmb should work.
also if you hold alt + shift +lmbmmb and move the mouse direction up it scales the graph up on y.
If you do the same but move the mouse left it scales the graph on x.
Give it a try.

It works, weee :)
Hmm, a strange combo. Well with the MMB being a mousewheel and all, I feel like I'm doing surgery when I ALT+LMB+MMB :)
Why not just ALT-MMB like in the normal viewports?
PS: Sorry about the trackview, it's a 3ds max thing. Just ignore me when I do stuff like that ;)

Slightly related question, I'm guessing you might know.
Is there a way to not add keys for all the channels of an object (with 's')?

shift + w for Translation
shift + e for Rotation
shift + r for Scaling
Or highlight the channel in the channel box, and right click, key selected.
hold shift+w (for translation)
e (for rotation)
r (for scale)
