Hi everbody I'm in.:)

This is my concept. Forgive me for my bad drawing, My drwing sucks:) I created this sketch directly in photoshop.
The Name of the character is 'Calisto' once was a War hero. After many years he is forced back to join the troops and fight against the evil.
He is expert in close combat/Martial Arts. He carries a battle Axe and a Rifle. He also carries small hunting knives. He is around 6ft tall.
He is quiet quick in his moves, very sharp and experienced warrior, because of his speed in close combat he can defeat almost anyone who comes in his way with his battle axe, can do a maximum damage to his enemies. He also has a rifle for long range. He can quickly learn to use any weapon.

Hi everybody a small update. Started modeling head. All other details I will be adding them in z-brush:)

Hi madshooter. I think a little bit more sci-fi would do your character good...
02-08-2007, 08:57 PM
I agree, hes gt to stand up to the likes of demons, angels, forces of pure evil, he needs more than a simpe shotgun to survive that...

Try a sheild system or a big gun, and also armour.

coCoKNIght, Airflow: I think you guys are right I need to add some armour. Actually I was not planning to add any armour because my character has lot of abilities, Its not the armour what makes him warrior, but his attitude, guts, speed, power, quickness. For example connan the barbarian warrior doesn't wear any armour. I might add some armour on his shoulders and chest.
Thanx for replying:)

Less cloth, more badassness. I agree with you it's not the armour and weapons that completely make the warrior, but I believe for this competition a cool looking character will win it. Conan sported some rippling muscles... and that says cool to me. I'd square the chin up a bit to match the concept, and would emphasize the brow more. I look forward to watching your progress.

Hi everybody:) I have created this chest armour using Displacement Map in Max. Later on in lowpoly model I will use this hi res mesh for Normal mapping.

Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing the new concept. I know its a work in progress, but think about the anatomy structure while scultping your head (eye sockets, cheekbone, etc).

CUBISIS: Hey dude Nice to see ya in this challenge. All the best:thumbsup:
Scotcho: Yeah you are right I have to look after small details of the character. I'm good in object/vehicles/weapons modeling, but not that good in character modeling. So this time I'm trying to improve my skills in character modeling. Thanx for replying Dude:)

i would like to see the new ideas in ur sketch first before modeling.
02-13-2007, 06:08 PM
CUBISIS: The first drawing which you saw in post, it took me hell lot of time to sketch it out,
If I spend more time in drawing, then I won't be able to complete anything:) Well about the concept, the character personality won't change too much, According to my new additions, He will be having a good physique, with some armour on his chest and a big gun. Anyways I will try my best to draw a decent sketch and post it. Thanx for replying.
