Hi everybody.

I made a clip in which some weird blobby transforms into a chair. Hope you like it :)

WOW very cool no idea how you did that but im rather jealous. The lighting is great and the animation is a good time. Only crit is the back rest coming out of the hooks. Everything else came out like it was tucked away but the rest just appeared.

Great work. I love the transition of the leg from the orangy to the silver color.

Hehee, thanks for the very positive feedback, mates :)

RogerA: Yeah, I've been told about it a couple of times before as well. I just couldn't think of another way of making it.

Reeder113: I think the wip-videos will do a sufficient tutorial as much as it goes with 3D. But all the stuff that is added after version 005 is purely post prosessing. And actually, a lot of it is done in Photoshop - frame-by-frame :P - - sometimes it just is a lot easier to do that way than fight with all the settings and stuff that still don't work like you would like.

Here's a concept-image I made for this project (http://users.evtek.fi/%7Emanuj/_Junk/_Big_Apple_Project/20061230_Roll_Chair_Concept_01.jpg), nothing special though

This is very nicely executed! The liquid silver thing is awesome. The way the legs drop and scale into size, all those springy movements of each part and the little roll action just adds so much to the clever sequence. I really like what you've done :)
The only thing not up to par imho is the beginning - the crawling movement of the blob looks a bit odd. Maybe it's because the blob slides forward slightly as he squashes instead of stretching forward. It's just a very very minor nitpick though!

A WICKED concept and very nicely executed. I love the way your renders have a "sketched" look, being that they seem rough around the edges

Top notch! :buttrock:

Nice job. I detect a small bit of slipping forward on the "worm" after he stretches out, though, it's still a very nice piece of animation. I liked the WIPs as well.
