i have build character rig by taking help of max5 rigging tutorial.

and created character assembly by selecting all the bones, ctrl and interal junk (like point helper and dummies etc).

is there anyway where i can filter out these object during merging and mapping the object. because it becomes very difficult to select these nodes.

If I think I know what you're asking, you can use 'selection sets'. The online help and manual explains them.

hey mahlon thanx for replying and sorry for if my question was not clear.

Actually my question was regarding mapping of keys when loading anm file from one characters sets to another in max5 (new tool Character)
