Soon virus writers will be able infect both you and your PC with the same virus!

Umm, I'm sure it doesn't work that way, but the whole idea sounds rather creepy to me. This kinda thing and nanotech and hydrogen power will really make the world a completely different place in the next hundred years. That is of course if the polar ice caps don't melt and drown us all first. Or worse, force us to reenact Waterworld :eek:

Aw heck yeah. One step closer to plugging into the comp and dreaming our work into form instead of bothering with all this 'modeling' crap. :airguitar

...yeah, provided humanity can survive the growth of its own power without society collapsing and making us reenact Waterworld, of course... ewwwww... :argh:

I remember hearing about biologic computers back in the early 70's, so I would not expect to be able to rush out and buy one anytime soon.

"...100,000 times faster than the fastest PC." Bah! I can do those calculations in my own head. I'm that smart. So smart that I can see how great a movie Waterworld actually was!:bounce:

<duck>

I'm just kidding...about Waterworld that is.

Hah yeah I've been following these for a while... while slower on some types of calculations, there are some things it absolutely destroys... for example the "Travelling Salesman" problem, or any other massively parallel processing problem. So while it may not help you render faster, it sure as hell let's you say..... simulate cloth water steam AI fur and smelly farts all at the same time in no time at all!
