hey guys,

umm yeah heard about the dominance competition, decided to go for it (even though i have nearly no experience modelling for games), im also known as 3dspider in other forums (damn cgsociety doesnt allow numbers in names :() like 3dbuzz and 3d-palace. Yeah this first post is just an intro for me to you since im pretty new here.

Oh yeah and some ideas ive got going, im thinking of some ethreal female archer character, she uses a high tech bow, and her cloak allows her to phase in and out of vision. I was also thinking about some kind of elven like wizard with staff and an incorporeal shield surrounding him. Im doing some sketches now and will have them up in about a day or so, basically as soon as the printer/scanner decides to work.

ive been thinking a lot about the design, even tried my hand at a few sketches (damn everyone HAD to be a great artist as well as kick ass modelers :P), ive decided to change my character, now he's male, he's a high warlock with a staff, still has wings, will have a shield, and will somewhat resemble sepiroth off FFVII as far as outfit, but with blue highlights, and no nancy white shoulderpads :P

k i only had a couple of minuites to knock this one up, but yeah this is the beginnings of the wings and staff, not sure if im making the wings realistic or metalic just yet.

oh yeah and if ur wondering, ive only got about 4 months expereience using 3ds max, well any 3d program actually.

haha like any bad designer, im changing ideas like crazy :P Now im kind of stuck on the whole 'crysis suit muscled ninja tight leather getup'. Basically the guy is going to play the part of hired mercenary - ninja. He's going to wield a gun sword (tribute to Squall FFVIII :P) with a ninja aspect to it. Have no idea how its going to turn out, since my experience with modeling characters is . . . . oh yeah, i did an alien :eek:

K well then this is a sketch i did of him, more to come when its not 3:19 am :rolleyes:
