This is very unfinished, I'll eventually paint a drawing to match the style of the portrait that I did, but for now I was just getting some ideas down. The reason that I didn't get very far on the drawing is because I started modeling.

This is a great break from the casual games that I've been working on.

He is known by his enemies as the Firefly, named after the glowing wisps that surround him. With these wisps he is able to manipulate any object that is near his body. From lifting his opponents into the air and smashing them to the ground, to stopping the bullets from their weapons.
He has been seen on the battlefield wielding entire armory's worth of weaponry, all floating in the air before him.

The Firefly wears a custom made, form-fitting space suit which allows him to move freely from starship to starship, using the wisps to propel himself.

i really dig the character. the tiny 'wisps' as you call them, are a very cool & unique idea. i like the sleek stylizing of the head but i'm not entirely sure about the lankiness in the full body concept. are you going for a planet with lower gravity thing, because it seems a little too tall for such a human character. keep it up though, good luck!

this is my favorite concept so far
his design is awesome! i personally like the skinnier legs better, but that's just me.
his head is looking great as well, how about a wire?
can't wait to see this come along!

ill_logic: you make me sad, I really liked his proportions. I'll definately try out some less extreme measurements when I get into 3d. Thanks a lot for the comment.

dpizzle: Thanks! I've been thinking about modeling both skinny and wide legs and seeing what comes out better, I can't decide what I like personally. I'll render some wires as soon as I can, probably tomorrow while I'm working on the model again.

I am doing casual games too, lucky for me my company is one of the rare one to punch off early= more time for war! Keep it up.
