View Full Version : Vehicle: just another TT, perhaps not??
MAXIS 02-25-2003, 04:03 AM Hi everyone, this is a link to my Audi TT.
This car was used in an animation for our 3rd year multimedia exhibition.
The final image is a frame from the animation.
Any form of feedback that anyone wishes to offer will be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

maybe should have gotten rid of the segmentation in all the images.... also, the panel gaps seem like textures and dont have a good look to them...
good concept though.

Thanks for your comments!
-Marko, I have to agree with u about the panel gaps looking like textures-just a case of over BandSawing - fixed with a little bit of BandGlueing-will re-render soon, just need a spare 10hrs...
Also had a few emails about download time - have smaller thumbnails now...

YAAAHOOOOO
Somebody actually put their car in an ENVIRONMENT. :applause:
Although, the lighting is a little bit too dim in the foreground to really show off the car. It seems brighter elsewhere in the scene, maby tweak it a little bit to shed more light on the car and roadway.
Nice car :D

What uni are you from?
nice work! really love those rims!

nicely done, great car!
just one thing...I like the environment more than the car itself :D
Was it done for anything else or is it just created for presentation of this car?

That TT Coupe looks great...I tried modeling one, it didn't come out that nice. Image 6 is awesome.

Try working on the headlights a bit more. The real ones have some really nice shapes. I like the housings you have on the lamps, but the surrounding form is sort of plain and doesn't look right there. Otherwise, pretty nice work.

WTF!!
the wheels look AMAZING! the details you can see inside makes it different from most of the TT that are modeled =D
The only detail it looks a little strange for me is the line that divides the front of the car from its hood. it looks too much tight, as if it was really just a stroke...besides that the metal material looks amazing as well...

This is THE best "TiTie" model I've seen.
The only critique that I can think of is that the reflection on the body's somehow awkward.
That'll be my wallpaper from Tonight!

Bounce - I studied @ Monash University - r u a fellow uni student?
LoneLobo - The environment composition was actually created for an animation
jporter313 - I do have the original headlight form in previous models, however, they didn't work to well with my housings?...oh well, maybe I will try agian...thanks
Alt F4 - Fixed the panel Gaps...cheers
jchoi - awkward..Yes maybe but I don't have much control, no reflection maps...future improvements perhaps
RedSilas - Render and Modeling completed with Lightwave 7.5

i would normally kick someone for modelling this car AGAIN, but you made it all good when you painted it orange, and the rest is good too.
