It's very hard to find the right name and description for some textures I want to put on my site. It's easy to see the properties that link them together, but finding the name for the combining factors is though.

I'm trying to find a name for this type of concrete. The concrete is cast using a casing that is built from very narrow planks. The planks leave seams on the concrete. It's often seen on WWII bunkers and old industrial buildings. Anybody know a one or two word description that would match this type of concrete?

I would call this "Formwork Textured Concrete"

I'd be inclined to just call it "bunker-wall" as most people when they see concrete in that type of moulding would instantly think of the the huge bunkers that were part of the Atlantic wall in ww2. Awesome texture BTW.

That's a good conclusion you draw octopus7, the simplest name is often the best. 'Bunker Wall' it will be :)
